Dr. Konti has been in private practice here in Phoenix for nearly 2 decades. Originally from Ohio, Dr. Konti completed most of his schooling in Cincinnati and Cleveland. After his ophthalmology residency, he moved to Dallas, Texas to complete a Cornea & Refractive Surgery Fellowship at UT Southwestern. He is currently the medical director of both the Eye Surgery Center of Arizona (one of the largest centers in Phoenix) and the Eye Bank (Donor Network of Arizona).
Dr. Konti is an active board member for a non-profit charity organization, where he organizes and attends mission trips around the world to perform surgical procedures for underprivileged communities. He also volunteers locally, participating in a valley-wide, on-call trauma service where he cares for patients who have suffered acute facial and ocular traumas in need of emergency treatment.
Dr. Konti is passionate about education and public awareness for preventative eye health. He has participated in many presentations, news interviews, and publications on ocular disease and trauma, as well as other eye health topics. He has also worked on numerous research publications, sharing his passion for all facets corneal transplantation.
Dr. Konti resides nearby in Scottsdale with his wife and three children. He occupies his free time with travel and weekends on the soccer fields with his children.
Dr. Konti has advanced training in LENSAR Laser Cataract Surgery and is excited to offer the newest technologies in cataract treatment, including the RxSight Light Adjustable Lens.
